Is every major thoroughfare in Dallas under some sort of construction? Or is it just the ones I’ve been driving on (i.e., Mockingbird, Preston, Hillcrest, Northwest Highway, etc.)? Discuss.

They need to hurry up at Northwest and Riverside in Las Colinas. I counted 10 cycles of the light this morning. I made it through on number 13. But I guess the rain this summer slowed things down for the repair crews and they are trying to get it done.
You are absolutely correct: there are a large number of improvements being made to Dallas roadways. In addition to other projects like new libraries and fire stations, voters approved hundreds of millions of dollars during recent City of Dallas bond elections to be used to repair, replace, and reconstruct streets, thoroughfares, and alleys. Let’s not forget Oak Lawn which has been under construction since 1842.
