Leading Off

1) Mitch Rasansky may be a surly old coot sometimes, but he’s got the right idea on what to do about the surfeit of uninsured drivers in Dallas. As the great man once said, “Are there no prisons? And the Union workhouses, are they still in operation?”

2) Hoping to publish a book that leaves out some uncomfortable realities? That doesn’t sound like a church, does it?

3) And proving you can fool some of the people all of the time…

    I wonder how the Brits will feel about paying £20 for chocolates that are simply melted and repackaged product they could by elsewhere for 90p.

    I don’t think a church named “Broadway” should be surprised by this .. . and they should embrace everyone who comes into its doors. We’re all God’s kids …

    The Hetro-Plex is very unique when it comes to issues like this.

    For example, December 1st was World Aids Day and not a mention of it here or most places in the local blogosphere. I can only assume that it is because AIDS has not yet hit the Dallas/Fort Worth area. How lucky can one city be?
