FrontBurner® has been called the best blog in Dallas (repeatedly), a snarky celebration of ignorance, and a daily conversation about Dallas among the editors of D Magazine.

I think all statements made by Leppert from this point forward should be accompanied by a "safe harbor" clause, much like those required by the SEC of publicly-traded companies. In other words, bullshit protection.

Leppert doesn't seem to be clued in about the schools, perhaps too time spent in the antebellum Park Cities apartheid?

For instance he wants to put a 'college-prep' school downtown -- I guess he doesn't realize the top school in the country, TAG, is a stone's throw and the highest rated AP program (by D Magazine) is a couple of miles east in Lakewood at Woodrow Wilson High. Besides the only school besides Booker T. (3 presidential scholars) downtown was Crozier Tech, which was sold a decade ago.

So the schools are there - perhaps he should promote and support what is already extant.
