The Fire Pits are Back at Lee Harvey’s

Remember this? (And this? And this, and this, and this? Oh, and this and this?) Well, it seems that Lee Harvey’s beloved fire pits aren’t dead after all. So says a same-office-working FBvian, in this good news/bad news missive:

Btw, Lee Harvey’s got their fire pits back. Just in time, too. Looks like they just built metal enclosures around what was already there. I’m guessing that gets them in “code.” Even so, a cop spent most of the night talking to (who appeared to be) the proprietors.

Yep, actually those flame throwers are a different configuation, but yes, they have full screens so now we cannot pass out into the glowing you’ll logs.

But; the police being there (nightly) has zero to do with those pits, and everything to do with the ever-determined demonic neighbor spawning omnipresent up-the-ante harrassment from his end. THAT’s the pits.

Funny thing is, Lee Harvey’s has no serious crime since the beginning of 2005

1 car break-in and 1 stolen car. That’s it. Nothing at all this year.

Dang. I’ve broken more laws on a Tuesday night at Amsterdam Bar than anything that’s happened at Lee Harvey’s since 2005.

Glad to hear the fire pits are back.
