I do believe the biggest problem we are facing in the USA is the hi-jacking of our Constitution by the current president and his cronies. The second biggest problem is lack of voter participation, with the vast majority belonging to lower income earners. Every American citizen that receives government assistance ought to be required to vote, lest they lose their stipend, i.e. educational aid, welfare, health care, etc. Of all the freedoms that our military and their families have sacrificed so much for, the right to vote is and should be the most precious. Their sacrifices have also enabled people like Bill “O’Really” to exercise their freedom to speak. Bill O waves the flag of patriotism so fiercely yet he dishonors this same flag by resorting to distorting facts, telling half-truths as well as outright lies in order to influence a person’s voting preference. Bill O’Reilly and people like him (right or left) should be totally ashamed of themselves for abusing this freedom as well as dishonoring the aforementioned sacrifices. They should use honesty and integrity when reporting the news. To do otherwise is to resort to being nothing more than a propagandist.

i am sick of reading all this crap
about how people hate the film and its anti
american, or its going to cause soldiers to be killed.
If any movie has the impact to make people lose
their self control and go out and kill americans then
it must be a work of genius. So you people need to
stop blaming the film for what people may or may
not do and blame the people, otherwise your
admitting the film has power wich means the film is
good.

And, I must say, the newly svelte Mr. Cuban (dude, can I drop 20 by dancing with kym? can you make that happen?) has a point. Check out metacritic for a more well-rounded take, where you’ll get Roger Ebert praising it, Joe Morgenstern (who I like) loathing it, and my favorite critic, David Edelstein, somewhere in the middle.

Wick, Far be it from me to dispute your omnipotent wisdom on this film. And I appreciate your concern for my financial well being in the movie business. If anyone understands the challenges of running a media business, its you.

You make it seem as if there arent any positive reviews. Not that Im suprised that such “fair and balanced” blogging would come from you.

If anyone has an interest in seeing all reviews listed, good and bad, they can head over to rotten tomatoes
