assuming one of Brown’s editors wrote the headline “Texas market doing OK…” it seems pretty clear to me that they asked themnselves ‘what does this mean for our readers’

Funny they mark that story “Advertising” on their website. Don’t remember seeing that distinction when RE advertising stories run in print.
