Jessica Simpson to Star in Major Embarrassment
Go here to see the trailer for Major Movie Star, the forthcoming “film” (for lack of a better word) from Jessica Simpson. A few thoughts:
- If I were casting a mash-up remake of Private Benjamin and Stripes, I don’t think Jessica Simpson makes the call sheet.
- If the rest of the movie has anything at all in common with the trailer, I think audiences will join writers on the picket line. (Zing! That’s topical humor, people.)
- There is not near enough Steve Guttenberg.

Did anyone see her on the CMAs the other night? She seemed a little lost out there in the audience. Every time the camera panned her, I got the feeling that someone just out of frame was jangling car keys to get her to smile or not look like she’d been dropped off at the wrong party by her Dad.
I think “More Guttenberg” will soon replace “More Cowbell” in popular lexicon….
Definitely needs more cowbell.
