A Bigwig Among Us?

Field spies tell us about 40 motorcycle cops and a fleet of police cars were gathered not long ago in or around Dallas Love Field. Then a short time later, they say, a bunch of “Secret Service” types had blocked off a bunch of prime parking space at Highland Park Village. Anybody out there know if someone important’s in town?

Dick and Lynn. They went to the Beretta Gallery and as they were driving away, they waved at us.. because of course we were standing across the parking lot staring the whole time.

So, if Cheney was spotted at the Beretta Gallery, would it be fair to say, “Dick’s locked and loaded”? (sorry, it’s the end of the day.) I just hope no one gets hurt.

Police cars are lined up around Woodall Rodgers and St. Paul as well, and up Field St…just hope he doesn’t go west on Commerce

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will discuss the questions “What are American values, and do today’s current policies reflect those values?” at a lecture series Friday sponsored by the National Center for Policy Analysis.

Mr. Bush will speak from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas.

His speech will focus on the upcoming presidential election and how these issues are shaping the election.
