Fox 4 Cleansing the Web

The video of the news report that touched off the whole Aguilar controversy has been removed from both Fox 4’s website and Youtube. But Breitbart has it, as part of a larger report they did. Good luck taking that down, Fox 4.

  1. Here’s the notice I received about posting the video to YouTube:

    To Whom It May Concern,

    You are in violation of copyright law. A property linked to your name contains video, logos, audio, text, images, likeness, or content that you do not own.

    You are notified to immediately remove the video posted 10/17/2007 entitled “Reporter Ambushes Senior Citizen” with the URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnZd-5dYXfk . If you do not remove the video, the host site will do so.

    Further unauthorized use of video, logos, audio, text, images, likeness, or content of FOX 4, myfoxdfw.com, KDFW, or KDFW-TV can result in legal action.

  2. 1) Legitimate persons do not leave take-down notices in the comments. They contact YouTube directly.

    2) The folks at Breitbart talk with their hands way to much.
