1) The new Dallas Beige Book is out and it lives up to its name.

2) Glad the wounded SWAT officer is going to recover. But this story reads almost exactly like initial stories after the last SWAT shootout in February 2006 where officers working with the DEA were wounded, and it turned out it was friendly fire. So let’s see how this unfolds. Plus, what the hell are the cops doing throwing in flash-bangs when they know there’s a four-month-old kid in the house? These no-knock raids really need to be reassessed.
