Seems CEO Jim Keyes wasn’t finished in his shaking up of the executive wing at Blockbuster. About 19 months ago (many months pre-Keyes) the company fired its chief lawyer, thinking it was an unnecessary expense. Keyes thought otherwise and hired Eric Peterson, formerly at TXU, as general counsel.
