No Boys-Pats Live Blog

Lots of folks asking me if we’ll do another live blog. Not today. Why? Don’t wanna.

I do, however, want to remind folks what I said about Texas native Adrian Peterson, who currently has 231 yards rushing and 3 TDs on just 16 carries for the Minnesota Vikings, next week’s Dallas opponent. During the NFL draft live blog in April, I had this to type:

11:06 — Lots of people suggesting Adrian Peterson from my beloved Sooners could drop into the teens. Folks. Don’t be idiots. Every team without a superstar running back who passes on Peterson will regret it. He will be a superstar.

The lesson: I should be on Jerry’s payroll.
