In comment #56 to the Cowboys-Bills live blog, Bethany asks, what is the success rate of onside kicks (from the kicking team’s perspective)? Through footballoutsiders.com (GREAT web site, if you’ve never seen it), I found this link that suggests that for anticipated onside kicks (big distinction), it’s about 12 percent.
