I feel like I sort of jinxed myself yesterday with all that talk about not having the urge to smoke. Yeah. Funny thing about that. The urge came back. I would have kicked through a wall of puppies if there happened to be a pack of sweet, sweet Marlboros on the other side. In other words, last night, withdrawal hit me pretty hard. My legs felt like they couldn’t straighten out, my hands and arms became extremely itchy, and blah blah blah. Who cares? Point is, I got through it smoke-free. Another day down.

I’ve willingly given you candy and gum and ignored the intensity exhibited in your requests for said items. I know I don’t have the appeal of a wall of puppies, but I would like to plead with you not to kick through our cube in pursuit of cigarettes. I don’t have any.
