The horror stories behind the eminent demise of Luqa, the fancy pants restaurant in the ill-fated Dallas Roof Gardens, are swirling into gale force winds. A well-informed FrontBurnervian spills this:
Luqa Restaurant is in dire straits right now. Executive chef David Gilbert & crew have walked out over financial woes. The story on the street is that the kitchen staff has not been paid in 4 weeks & an account that David had with the restaurant was drained dry when he was on vacation. So David is now looking for a job & I think it would be a shame for David to leave Dallas because he is such a forward thinker & an asset for Dallas to have.
