Bruce Tomaso Couldn’t Handle My Friendship

And I didn’t offer it, regardless of this post, which just means he’s not cool enough to be my friend, for these reasons:

1. Thinking I have to be pals with someone to e-mail him a question.
2. Thinking I was doing anything other than trying to finish cooking dinner for my guests without checking my e-mail every six minutes.
3. Believing that my retort (”You don’t play fair”) was anything other than my mocking his self-important response.

But I guess I understand. He’s in daily journalism. It’s his beat. He wants his scoop hours before anyone else mentions it anywhere.

Oops.
