2. As Wick noted, a federal judge put a stop to the FB ordinance. I think his logic is pretty solid:
“The court also fully understands the frustration of cities attempting to address a national problem that the federal government should handle; however, such frustration, no matter how great, cannot serve as a basis to pass an ordinance that conflicts with federal law.”
3. DISD can claim the top two spots in Newsweek’s ranking of the best high schools in America. Now is the point where many of you who’ve never had kids in the district make mocking comments. Bring it.
