Jacquielynn Floyd shared her take on the Dallas Press Club scandal (yawn) in today’s column. But what caught my interest was this possible admission toward the end:
There are some gifted and dedicated people at our newspaper who rarely get the recognition they deserve. They don’t get prizes or front-page bylines or pleasantly flattering mug shots of themselves in print.
Some might recall that we called Ms. Floyd out (scroll down) over her refusal to update her mug shot when it was clear that a new one was waaaaaaay overdue. The photo still hasn’t changed, but it seems she’ll concede that it’s “pleasantly flattering.”
