RE: TRINITY RIVER AUDUBON CENTER TO BREAK GROUND

Jim, you’re Trinity is half-empty; mine is half-full. I skimmed the piece you wrote about “hiking” through the muck. There is no argument that this land, like so much urban land in less-developed areas of a city, has been a dumping ground for refrigerators and unwanted dogs. But the trees are there (and the city won’t have to pull them up because they can’t afford to water them (grrrrrrrr)). An ecosystem without concrete and azalea bushes exists around the Trinity. If we get nothing except the Audubon Center, it will still be great for our choking-in-concrete city. I’m into the woods. Film at 11.
