The suit was filed yesterday. Styled as: “Press Club of Dallas; Press Club of Dallas Foundation v. Elizabeth Elbanese aka Lisa Albanese (fmr. president, Press Club of Dallas).” Summary of case: “Fiduciary duty and theft actions where the defendant engaged in “dishonest and fraudulent” activity as president. Among other things, she had at least four Katie Awards awarded to herself and engaged in fraud regarding the club’s finances.”
