RE: CHEF NEEDS YOUR HELP
Catherine Fotre provides details on her husband chef François Fotre’s condition.
François accident occured on the 8th on March. He is still in surgical ICU. He is in stable condition. He has had trauma to the head, and that is under control. He is conscious when not under too much medication. He had a tracheostomy and is breathing on his own through that tube. Of course he cannot talk with the tube. When he is off the tube he will be moved from ICU(probably another week) After ICU he will be moved to a regular room. There is more, but I think that should answer most peoples questions. I ask at this time that he have no visitors. He is not in any condition to see people, he only tolerates my talking to him for a very short time and gets agitated easily. It is very painful for us to see him this way, but we know he is going to make it, it just going to take time. Francois was our only source of income and he had no health insurance, so our lives have been turned up-side-down.
