I was lucky enough to get to hear him speak just last November. Nothing I can say here will do justice — the man was an indelible and integral part of Dallas. But what I took away from meeting him was that both his spirit and his ideas were more dynamic, engaging and youthful than men a quarter his age. Godspeed.
