RE: THEY LOSE YOUR BAG

We don’t charge to deliver bags. I don’t have any idea what that person is talking about. Maybe that’s an expedited service that the airport is offering? And, we don’t mishandle that many bags every day. Maybe during a big storm when flights are delayed and we can’t get the bags to a connecting flight before it departs but the customer manages to make it there. Right now, we mishandle about 5 bags per 1,000 on average. That includes delays, lost, and damaged bags. And that’s a yearly figure including all of the bad weather. On a daily basis, if every day were the same, that would be maybe300-and-something bags at DFW. But again, that’s not the way it works.
