Twice over, it turns out. Dave Levinthal at the Morning News delivers the indictment on the DMN’s blog. Seems Jordan pulled more or less verbatim from a guy in Colorado running for governor and from Kansas City’s Commission on Violent Crime. Jordan’s flack says it’s not plagiarism though. “Just because you like a good idea that’s out there doesn’t make it plagiarism. If it’s a good idea, it’s a good idea.” A good idea? The guy from Colorado lost the race. As for the plagiarism denial, well, you be the judge.
One final media-obsessed point, one that FoF has already made. Dave’s story isn’t in today’s paper. Why? This is City Hall juice of a high caliber, much better than, say, which old white guy is a member of the Dallas Country Club.
