Well, Magnolia Pictures, which Cuban owns, did so, upset about pirated vidoes being uploaded on Google Video and YouTube. I feel it’s safe to say that this sort of legal action will be watched by lawyers and lawyer-like people as possible litigation looms.
Update: A Pacer-lovin’ FBvian (the service, not the NBA team) sent me the actual subpoena, which contains a shocking revelation: Magnolia’s lawyer is identified as Baxter Banowsky. And I don’t care that he seems to be a name partner at a Dallas firm. I think it’s clearly a fake name.
