VIKING TO PUBLISH, ROB ALLYN TO WRITE…

…the memoirs of Vincente Fox. Here’s the announcement:

Clare Ferraro, President of Viking, announced today that Viking has acquired President Vicente Fox’s memoir entitled Revolution of Hope. Viking will publish in October 2007, and Wendy Wolf, Editorial Director of Non-Fiction, will be the editor.  Viking acquired world rights from Jan Miller at Dupree/Miller & Associates. President Vicente Fox and co-author Rob Allyn will be writing the memoir.

For the first time, President Fox will reveal the ups and downs of his close but occasionally rocky relationships with world leaders from President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair to Fidel Castro, Vladimir Putin and Hugo Chávez. As a concerned friend and ally of the U.S., Canada and Europe, President Fox also will speak out forcefully on hot global topics like immigration, the war in Iraq, racism, globalism, the United Nations, free trade, the role of religious faith and the moral imperative to heal the global divide between the “have” and “have- not” nations.

I’m happy to see our friends Rob Allyn and Jan Miller making a mint.
