RE: FATALITY AT DFW?
An FBvian monitoring the report of accidental death at DFW Airport now sends an update indicating the injured person fortunately is still hanging on. This is the latest from airliners.net:
I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who is the injury manager for AA in DFW. Yesterday a fleet service clerk was run over by a push out huff at 22:45. It occured during a heavy rain. The clerk has definately lost his left leg, his right leg is broken in several places, his pelvis is shattered, he has many other internal injuries. Currently the clerk is in a coma at a Dallas Hospital ICU unit. Please keep this airline person in your thoughts and prayers. Cases like this we are not competitors, we are all family.

Several FBvians have made this observation:
There were no reports in the media about an accident at DFW airport because all the media has been focused on the ICE STORM. You would think the entire area was frozen in a Groundhog Day time warp. Nothing but the same coverage non-stop. (I think I will scream if WFAA -TV shows that same footage of the SUV doing a 180 again!) SURELY something of interest happened over the past 3 days! Bring your reporters down from the bridges and overpasses and put them on some BREAKING news.
