Meet Kevin Johnson, aka The Famous Guy (sound warning: his site plays Peter Gabriel until you tell it not to). His shtick is so unabashed and simple that it makes me mad–mad I didn’t think of it first. For now, Johnson delivers holiday popcorn tins. His goal is to be famous in 12 months, even though, as he points out, he has no talent, connections, or a prestigious family. But he’s got a plan, including finding a publicist, signing an endorsement deal, and getting his face on a billboard in NYC. His 12 months began a couple of weeks ago.
