Re Dallas, maybe we could just go ahead and review the DVD version of the maybe-will-be-made-movie now, while it’s still statistically plausible and before Owen Wilson needs a gig. Let’s start with Jenny Block’s notes:
It was fabulous. Even though John Travolta was the only live actor in the entire movie and the rest of the cast was made from stick figures and farm implements, it held my attention from the opening credits and line dance to the final accidental nuclear detonation (oops–did I spoil the ending?) at Southfork. Two thumbs up. Way up.
